Ways for Alumni to Get Involved
Volunteer and join the Alumni Association
Established in 1929, the Alumni Association strengthens and maintains links between the School and its 7,000+ graduates. The Alumni Association promotes the School's goals and objectives through volunteer service and generous financial support. The Alumni Association offers programs and activities designed to engage alumni with each other, with the School, and to contribute to individual and institutional advancement.
SSA values gifts of time from our graduates. To learn more about volunteer opportunities such as becoming a field instructor, serving as a career mentor, organizing an event featuring a faculty member or alumna or alumnus of distinction, or in the student recruitment process, please contact Christina D. Cole at 773-702-1172 or ccole@uchicago.edu.
You may also visit this page for more information about joining the various alumni committees: http://www.ssa.uchicago.edu/alumni/association.shtml
Submit your Alumni Reflection
We are seeking reflections of alumni experiences at SSA. We will share these reflections on this web site and in future printed materials. To submit a reflection, email it to alumni@ssa.uchicgo.edu or contact Christina D. Cole (her e-mail is ccole@uchicago.edu) by APRIL 15, 2009. View a video of alumni reflections.
Nominate an alum for an award
Each year, the Alumni Association presents a special award to an alumna or alumnus. To nominate an alumna or alumnus, please visit: http://www.ssa.uchicago.edu/alumni/alumni-awards.shtml.
